As a part of the honors program at Fordham University, students were invited to a global immersion trip to Dublin. We explored the cultural significance of Ireland within Europe and its early foundations. The immigrant stories from Ireland are resounding, and the country’s history of fighting against the British is commendable. The people of Dublin were some of the most welcoming and open-minded individuals. The city surprised me with how advanced and metropolitan it felt. We ended our trip to Ireland with the historic Cliffs of Moher.
